You are invited to attend PRBOs upcoming Shorebird ID Workshop to learn
about our new Community Wetlands Project and how you can help wetland
wildlife by conducting shorebird surveys. There are both weekend and weekday
    opportunities available.

Please look over the information, and if you would like to attend, please
contact Kira, at ksteinberg at prbo.org by email or at 415-868-1221 x 301 to
RSVP or if you have any questions. If you cannot attend this workshop, but
would still like to participate, please let us know. We will be holding
    another Workshop in October.

Volunteers are needed now to conduct shorebird surveys around Richardson
Bay, Corte Madera Creek, and other Marin County wetlands. Marin County is
blessed with a variety of valuable wetland and shoreline areas, including
critical habitats for important wildlife species. Healthy wetlands support a
diversity of wildlife and improve water quality for humans, but are also
among the most vulnerable habitats in California. Attend the Shorebird
Identification Workshop to learn to identify and monitor shorebirds and
waterfowl in your local wetlands, and help add valuable data to ongoing
efforts to protect wetlands and wildlife! Strong bird identification skill
    not required to participate.
