On Thursday, 9/15, around 7:30 a.m., I had to stop my vehicle on
Galloway St. to let 3 chukars cross the street.  They crossed from
Galloway Common towards the open space directly opposite the Commons.
Another Springtown birder reported seeing chukars in the area about 3
weeks ago.  Also, a couple of months ago, someone called me to report a
chukar that had been hanging around her backyard on Charlotte Way in
Livermore.

 

Galloway St. is a short connector street between Springtown Blvd. and
Bluebell Drive, north of Arroyo Las Positas/Altamont Creek.
