    In reverse -

GGAS is the Golden Gate chapter of the Audubon Society - all sorts of
interesting stuff, including the (mostly free) field trip schedule, at
    http://www.goldengateaudubon.org/.

Muscovy Ducks are the barnyard ducks with the heavy red skin on their
faces. They were bred from black stock to domestic white, and have
outcrossed back so that some are now black or party-colored. If you
never saw one before, it'd be easy to believe it came from another
planet - but they're not a countable species.

This trip runs on the 4th Wednesday each month, year-round, meeting on
the lake side of the nature center at the Lake Merritt Bird Sanctuary,
Bellevue and Perkins, Oakland. We start at 9:30 and break up around
11:30 or 12, depending on the general interest level and endurance of
the group. There's a free parking lot beside the boathouse, just up
Bellevue from the nature center - but you have to enter the park by
Children's Fairyland to get to it, as Bellevue is one way for most of
    its transit of the park.

    Come join us some time!
