On July 29 at 7 AM, my son and I saw 3 or 4 Burrowing Owls at the
intersection of Tassajara and Dublin Blvd, including 2 or 3 on the
embankment on the north side of Northside Drive just east of Tassajara,
and one sitting on a fence post ten feet from the pedestrian walk sign
on the northeast corner of Dublin and Tassajara.

We found the male and female Blue Grosbeaks at MP 6.21 on Patterson Pass
Road and the Burrowing Owl on a rock north of MP 7.14.

There were still dozens of Swainson's Hawks, Great Blue Herons, Great
Egrets, and Ravens across the field from the intersection of Herdlyn and
Lindemann Roads just south of Clifton Court Forebay. Except for the odd
Swainson's flyby, a scope is necessary.

Many thanks to the various posters who have described these spots the
    past month.
