[EBB Sightings] Red Knots: Hayward Regional Shoreline

Shorebirds were numerous on the mudflats west of the Winton Avenue entrance
this afternoon. The light wasn't too good but I picked out 50-100 RED KNOTS
foraging in the mud, mostly in breeding plumage. Also, 2 adult and 1
juvenile LEAST TERN loafing at Frank's Dump and fishing in the Bay.
BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS are looking spiffy in their black vests.
