    Hello Birders,
Today I was hiking at Black Diamond Mines when I saw a Prairie Falcon
circling around the summit of the Stewartville Trail. In addition,
birds typical of the Oak Savannah habitat of this area were plentiful
    including:
Western Kingbird, Bullock's Oriole, Western Bluebird, Ash-throated
Flycatcher, Oak Titmouse, Lark Sparrow, Acorn Woodpecker, Nuttall's
Woodpecker, Barn Swallow, Lesser Goldfinch, Bushtit, American Kestrel,
    etc.

Yesterday while hiking Las Trampas Regional Park, I had only one singing
GRASSHOPPER SPARROW but had three RUFOUS-CROWNED SPARROWS that made up
for it. There was a surprising mix of birds there as well including
GOLDEN EAGLE, PACIFIC-SLOPE FLYCATCHER, LAZULI BUNTING, etc.
