[EBB Sightings] MLK 6-legged Avocet

On the weekly EBRP birdwalk at MLK shoreline Park this afternoon we saw =
what appeared to be a six-legged American Avocet.  Closer inspection =
revealed it as an adult with two chicks tucked under its wings and two =
more chicks walking nearby.  The fenced-in area was loaded with Avocet =
chicks.  It's a good time to check them out before they fledge.
