I made a quick run up to the South Gate of Mount Diablo State Park this
afternoon. SAGE SPARROWS were singing in the chamise in several spots. A
RUFOUS-CROWNED SPARROW and a couple fledglings were along the road just
before the gate. CALIFORNIA THRASHERS were singing from prominent posts.
