HI all

We were at Borges Ranch , Walnut Creek yesterday - Sun. April 10 . I went to
see the quail restoration habitat project; there were quail of course, also
saw what I believe was a house wren at one of the 'habitats' on the upper
ridge (where Mt. Diablo is more in view). I just saw it from a distance and
it would fly into the oak mound before I could get my binocs on it; fairly
good light, more reddish than a rock wren, which I first thought it might
be, except there weren't any hillsides with rocks around only blue and
valley oak. It came out briefly and then just stayed inside, I couldn't wait
very long to see if it came out again.
