    Thank you for the detailed directions!  I'll print them out and take them 
    along the next time we go to Sibley.
    
    Ironically, from your description, it sounds like we *did* see the golden 
    eagle nest on our way down from Round Top.  In the area you described, 
    nearly overhead, was a large bunch of sticks in a major branching.  My 
    husband swore he saw something big fly into it and could then see a head, 
    but by the time the rest of us got our binoculars on it, nothing but sticks 
    was visible.  Of course, we were trying to view it from the path, where 
    there is no unobstructed view.  We'll have to follow your directions off 
    the beaten (paved) path next time.
    
    The open area with the dead trees is where we saw the eagles flying 
    around.  Also a pair of kestrels (mating) and a red-tailed hawk.
    
    I, for one, would appreciate if you could post when chicks are 
    visible.  Thanks!
