[EBB Sightings] Tilden Owls

Hi all:

Friday night was pretty much all Great Horned Owls in
Tilden.

Things were off to a good start at the intersection of
the Tower Trail and Grizzly Pk. Blvd. w/ a Northern
Saw-whet Owl calling incessantly (which I guess is
redundant; that's what they do).  From there on out,
it was all Great Horned Owls.

2 at Redwood Trail staging at Golf Course/Grizzly.
2 At the top of the Golf Course parking area at Golf
Course Dr.
3 in the slopes surrounding Lake Anza. Echoing up to
the Wildcat Cyn Rd./ Lake Anza Turnoff.
2 below the first bench out Nimitz Way  at  Inspiration
Point.

Just as a reminder, post-sunset owling is not advised
as a solo pursuit. Take a friend. Or two.
