A Snow Goose was at the Martinez Estuary this afternoon. The bird was in
the tiny grass lawn, adjacent to the revamped parking lot at "Grangers
Wharf" associating with 5 Canada Goose. Semipalmated Plover continue to
winter here, visible when the mud flats are exposed.

The Grangers Wharf parking lot is at the end of Berrellesa Street as
    described here: http://www.diabloaudubon.com/places/G.html. The new
parking lot is not open yet, but you can park along the road on Berrellesa
    Street.

For anyone who has marveled at the 5-6 Black-crowned Night-Heron roosting
in this area, take note that improvement of the new parking lot (tree
cutting) appears to have uprooted them from their roosting trees. I hope
that they have not left the park entirely, so if you relocate
Black-crowned Night-Heron in this park, please report it.

Lastly, Allens Hummingbirds are coming through Monterey & Santa Cruz now,
so they should be here soon.
