On Saturday at 8:45 AM Malcolm Sproul and I relocated the Townsend's
Solitaire in the back parking lot of 346 Rheem Blvd., Moraga It made a nice
display of its wing and tail patterns while preening. It seemed to feed
once on Pyracantha berries. Later on while repairing gutters it came and
landed on the same tree in my yard as the first sighting. It had very
little concern about my activities and stayed for at least 10 min. Then I
saw it one on Sunday in the office parking lot. Not today, as of 10:30.

    Good birding,
