[EBB Sightings] Birding at Lake Merrit - Invite to Trial Run

Ruth Tobey and I are talking with Golden Gate Audubon about running a 
monthly birding walk along Lake Merritt and in the nearby park.

I'm meeting Ruth and also Bob Lewis tomorrow morning to scope out the 
program (and get a look at the first wave of winter migrants, of 
course), and we'd be happy to have company so as to get more of a feel 
for what a group would involve....

If you'd like to join us, meet by 9:30 on the lake side of the nature 
center on Bellevue, near the closest island in the bird sanctuary. 
There's plenty of parking on Bellevue or in the boating center parking 
lot just along the road, and driving into the park is free on weekdays. 
(I'll be walking, figuring to arrive around 9:15 or 9:20.)

If it's raining, we'll pick another day.
