[EBB Sightings] Site Administrator's Message

Dear EBB Sightings Members,

This is a friendly reminder regarding the purpose and the parameters of 
this list serve.

The purpose of the EBB Sightings list serve is to provide members a 
method of notifying each other of unusual bird sightings within the 
Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.  Please use the following guidelines 
for making postings to the list serve.

1.  Postings are to be limited to the sightings of birds, especially 
uncommon species to our area.  This list serve is not intended to be a 
discussion group or a message board.

2.  Postings to the list should be within Alameda and Contra Costa 
Counties.  There are many other list serves which cover the surrounding 
counties.  Many of these can be found on the MDAS web site under 
Related Links.

3.  Postings should include specific directions to the location of the 
bird sighting.
