    This morning at Lake Temescal in Oakland (take Broadway going NE, away =
    from downtown Oakland, to Hiway 24, parallel Hiway 24 for about a half =
    mile, entrance to parking is on the right) there was a fair sprinkling =
    of migrants and local birds, among them the following:
    
    Pied-billed Grebe with young begging
    Green Heron (2)
    Killdeer (2)
    Belted Kingfisher (1)
    "Western" Flycatcher (1)
    Black Phoebe (6)
    Hutton's Vireo (2)
    Orange-crowned Warbler (1)
    Yellow Warbler (2)
    Townsend's Warbler (1)
    Western Tanager (5)
