At least, so said the other birder I ran into. Yesterday at 145PM, I walked in from 51st street as per previous instructions, and crossed the bridge and hit the Bay Trail. After not discovering it over a brief period, another gentleman did--probably about 50-100 yards north of same bridge, and called me over (gave a perfect description). Another half hour of searching or so failed to relocate the bird, unfortunately. I decided to post this because nobody has updated recently.

Despite my personal palm warbler failures, and the lack of Clapper Rails during a nice high tide, it was very birdy, especially during the brief window when the sun was out, with 4 sparrows and active and visible Marsh wrens. Off the top of my head:

    GB Heron
    Snowy Egrets (millions)
    Mallard
    Scaup spp.
    American Widgeon
    Gadwall
    N. Shoveller
    Ring Billed Gull
    Avocets
    Dowitcher spp.
    Willets
    Least Sandpipers
    Killdeer
    Anna's Hummingbird
    Black Phoebe
    Marsh Wrens (great views)
Western Meadowlark (more than I can ever recall seeing in that area)
    YR Warbler
    Common Yellowthroat
    GC Sparrow
    WC sparrow
    Song Sparrow
    Lincoln Sparrow (at least 2)
    House Finch

    Good birding.
