We have only seen the adult Dark-eyed Junco with the mostly white tail in
our Walnut Creek patio with the fledglings. This morning shortly after 7
AM, she was there with two fledglings again. One of them was by itself,
picking up seeds and at least two of the meal worms we put out. The adult
was feeding the other. When I looked a few minutes later there were three
fledglings, one on the cement patio eating seeds and two in the hibiscus
    with the white-tailed adult.

As I returned from my morning bike ride through Heather Farm Park, a junco
flew from the street to some bushes in front of a fence across the street.
This was an adult, but not the one with the mostly white tail.

    The plot thickens.

I did see 11 Killdeer on the north and south ball fields in the park. A
bright male Yellow Warbler was in one of the trees near the wooden railing
at the mostly natural pond. A Kingfisher was in the trees out on the
    island.
