[EBB Sightings] Least Terns at Middle Harbor Park

My notes from last year, as well as the archived posting, indicated that Elegant Terns should have returned in the last month.  I finally found around 50 of them lounging on one of the sandbars at Middle Harbor RP at 11 AM today.  The only other terns present were Forster's, both adult and juveniles.  Increasing numbers of shorebirds are also present.  There was a beautiful Black-bellied Plover in full breeding plumage hanging out with others that were in varying stages of molt.
