[EBB Sightings] Rock wren

While on a walk with my husband and dogs, I saw my first Rock Wren on a small pile of rocks surrounded by weedy dry pasture in Diablo Foothills Regional park off? the Briones-Mt. Diablo Regional Trail at 10 A.M. Saturday, May 23.? Also saw the usual house finches, two lesser goldfinches, scrub jays, starling, vultures, hawks, acorn woodpeckers, many families of bluebirds hovering and hunting in the wind, trees of wrentits, a profusion of violet-green swallows, and three killdeer.
