all,
i never hear anyone sing the praises [paeans] of Castle Rock Pk [EBR] in lafayette. it's the great sleeper of birding [much like sibley]. this time of year it abounds with bullocks orioles and western kingbirds, lovely guys. plus all of the regulars of mitchel cyn- tho not as great for warblers. it's nearby; accessible. try it; enjoy it! best birding around the baseball field, 200 yds in from parking place. money back guarantee for unseen bullocks....
