I just wanted to thank everyone who replied. We went out this morning. Our
best sighting was a Bullock's Oriole at Murrieta's Well. We also saw
several Bewick's wren, a Red shouldered Hawk, and three kinds of
woodpeckers. All in all a great day. Thanks for the directions.

Wow--thank you so much, Joe for taking the time to share this with everyone.
I too had wanted to go along Mines Road (great for wildflowers too) but
heard how difficult it was to stop along the road so one really had to have
a good idea of what they were doing.
