    We saw many magpies on the east shore of Lake Del Valle this past
    Sunday. Good thing there were magpies to watch because there sure wasn't

    It's a bit out of the area, but I can find magpies reliably down in the
    areas around Calaveras reservoir area (Felter and Marsh roads up behind
    Ed Levin Park in Milpitas). I don't think that's too far out of your
