Hi all... Received an email confirmation from EBRPD Berkeley Meadow Restoration Project Manager today: They are setting aside a Harrier Conservation Area in the NW Meadow that will not be part of the restoration process at this time. Their staff will monitor the area the areas where they will be doing weed clearing to make sure they do not run into any nesting...They invite experienced birders to also provide observations to help with the monitoring. The public's observations are vital to their restoration and management of the area. They will also be having community stewardship events
March 21, and April 25 and 26
