[EBB Sightings] Three-merganser morning on SF Bay at Coyote Hills

This morning a female hooded merganser continued on the SF bay pond on the southwest side of Coyote Hills RP. She got out of the water and sunned herself on a partially-submerged rusty pipe in a small cove visible just after the trail makes a sharp right as you pass the quarry (coming from the Don Edwards NWR side over the pedestrian bridge over Hwy. 84). A male common merganser and a red-breasted merganser were on the pond as well. A male kestrel atop a nearby snag watched the proceedings.
