I had better luck than the other poster at Lake Temescal yesterday birding between 9:30 and 10:30. I started at the trail junctions at the west side of the lake. No action in the fennel except a Norther Flicker above. I then went up the higher trail and hit a warbler bonanza parallel with the southern edge of the lake. There were at least one Townsend's, Yellow, Wilson's, Orange Crowned and a very active adult male black throated gray. The latter was especially busy towards the top of a redwood (which was approximately eye level on this trail), and the madrones above the trail got a good workout as well. A Hutton's vireo came into my oak for excellent views as well, and there was a warbling vireo nearby.

No luck with the palm warbler, and surprisingly no yellow-rumped.
