    Joe,

Could you please post this message for me? It bounced back from EBB with a
"Message has a suspicious header" message.

    Thanks,
    Derek

Sunday at noon I saw a single Burrowing Owl just north of the dry pond in
the southeast corner of Arrowhead Marsh. It was a few feet south of a
    large
log, which can be seen best on the paved path that skirts the east side of
the marsh. The owl was right next to a couple ground squirrels, so from
that distance can easily be mistaken as one of them. There also was a
Red-tailed Hawk devouring what probably was a ground squirrel just inside
the fence on the south end of the marsh. It was probably only twenty feet
from the fence and wasn't bothered a bit by my presence.

And in an extremely late post, Jim Chiropolos and I saw a White-faced Ibis
at Coyote Hills and a Ross's Goose in Alameda Creek a week ago Saturday. I
just realized my original attempt to send the message didn't post.
