    Hi folks,

I was lucky to find the Virginia's Warbler at 10:45 AM
today at the fennel patch as previously reported.

This bird does move around quite a bit.
I had to wait about 45 minutes to find it, and it
gave prolonged looks feeding near the tops of the
fennel making me wish I had brought my scope along.
It vanished after about 10 minutes, and could not be
seen for the next 45 minutes until I left.

Drive to the very end of W. Winton Ave in Hayward, and
park at the last lot in the Hayward Regional
    Shoreline.
There is a small port-a-potty at the end of the lot.
The big fennel patch is in the dry creek bed behind
the tall bushes lining this parking lot.
