For more than two weeks we have been having one, sometimes two adult Oregon
Juncos come to our Walnut Creek patio for seeds. They would seem to grab as
many seeds as they could, then fly off, sometimes returning in just a matter
of minutes. We figured there was a nest nearby, possibly under the many
    redwood trees which
line Treat Boulevard near our house.

This morning just after 8 AM, and even right now as I type this, an adult
junco has brought two fledglings to our patio. There is spilled seed from
our feeder which they like. Though the young are standing amongst the
spilled seeds, they expect the parent to feed them, which it does.
