    Hi all:

A warm group greeted a cold morning along Patterson
Pass Road. An active and singing male BLUE GROSBEAK
provided ample reason for scratching the birding
itch. The Brandriffs had two more Blue Grosbeaks
upstream while 4 of us watched a singing male
downstream, and then I had another male about a
1/2-mile downstream later on, representing a possible
4th bird. All of the birds were in the 6.0-6.5
(milemarkers show the way) range of Patterson Pass Rd.

    A Black-throated Gray Warbler, Orange-crowned,
Nashville, Wilson's, and Yellow Warbler were all
reported in this stretch of the Road.

I made a stop at Murietta's Well, which was quiet, but
the Great Horned Owl and one of her owlets stirred for
a bit, so that's not all bad.

Another quick stop at Tassajara Creek Reg. Park in
Dublin had a male Black-throated Gray Warbler singing
from the canopy above the bridge that crosses the
    creek.

A few photos from this morning and yesterday's
blustery stop at Garin Park can be seen at:

    Good birding,
