Birding Mitchell Canyon yesterday (4/13) morning with Carol Chetkovich,
Pat Bacchetti and Mark Rauzon, we had Hammond's and Dusky Flycatchers
(one each) on the Globe Lily trail, a Calliope Hummingbird (probably the
same bird reported by Denise Wight), as well as multiple Nashville
Warblers, Blue-gray Gnatcatchers and Black-headed Grosbeaks, and one
    Ash-throated Flycatcher.

Also, of local interest, Friday evening I had at least three
Black-headed Grosbeaks singing on the Bridgeview trail in Dimond Canyon
    in Oakland.
