Sorry for the delayed post. I forgot to switch to Plain Text.

Thursday morning, April 3, our group saw three male Black Scoters from
Vincent Park, Richmond, as reported by several people. One was in
Richmond Marina Bay, and two were toward Brooks Island. There were
dozens of Caspian Terns on Brooks Island and a few fly-overs. There was
one Greater White-fronted Goose with the Canadas on the grassy knoll. We
did not see a Long-tailed Duck.

    >From Point Isabel looking northerly, we saw a Red-throated Loon and a
Red-necked Grebe, both in non-breeding plumage.

    >From Point Emery, a nice male Eurasian Wigeon was easily seen along the
    shore to the east.

Several shorebirds are coming into breeding plumage, e.g., Avocet,
Dunlin, Surfbird, Dowitcher, Willet, so have a look before they take
    off.
