I had excellent close views of the Rock Wren yesterday morning at Coyote Hills. I'm so used to seeing them across a canyon or down a sea cliff. It was in the same general area of the rocks south of the visitor center. I saw it on the farthest south large rock (lots of glass shards) of the chain of rocks along the trail starting with a more northerly large rock. Thanks to Ron Wolf for taking me by the hand and showing me where it could be.
