Hi all:
One White-throated Sparrow, nice looking adult with
white crown-streaks, continued with the Golden-crowned
Sparrow flock at Arroyo Flats picnic area at Garin/Dry
Creek Reg. Park in Hayward this a.m. I did not see
the second bird. Thanks to Bruce, Bob, and Joe for
tracking these birds down.
The White-crowned sparrow flock at the north end of
the entrance parking area is a diversionary flock
designed to throw you a time-consuming curve-ball.
There were 18 Wild Turkeys walking up Garin Ave as I
approached the entrance.
Good birding,
Bob Power
