Hello Mike!
I've been working with a bunch of folks at Hoffman Marsh. There is a
terribly soaked area there which I brought a camera crew from KPIX to last week for
a segment they did called "fouled and forgotten".Any way the totally soaked
area was as of yesterday completely untouched. It is along the shore on rip rap
and into the marsh and eel grass just west of the bridge which spans the
mouth of Baxter Creek. I re notified KPIX this am and also put in a call to
re-report to Contra Costa Hazmat. At low tide the area is heavily populated by
hundreds feeding birds which are feeding right in the area,. Can you see to
some effort to this completely neglected spot? Much Appreciated.
Best,
George Mc Rae
