A leaky water tank at the start of the paved road up to Vollmer Peak
(Seaview Trail) in Tilden Park was attracting many species of bathing
birds this morning including a flock of Pine Siskins and a single Red-
breasted Sapsucker. Other species sharing the "bird bath" included
Lesser Goldfinches, Spotted Towhees, Ruby-crowned Kinglets,
    chickadees, Stellar Jays, and Wrentits.

The wooden water tank is easy to find, park in the lot past the steam
train entrance (take the right fork) and walk up the paved trail 100
feet to the first sharp curve.
