ESSP-Richmond to Berkeley-SF Bay Trail, GGAS Bicycle Trip

Starting at 9 am at S. 51st Street in Richmond, 15 people rode along
the SF Bay Trail north to Shimada Park and then turned south, ending at
Berkeley?s Aquatic Park after a lunch break at the Sea Breeze Market.
We saw a Black Oystercatcher, Red-necked Phalarope, Whimbrels, Clark?s
Grebes and Black-bellied Plovers among many other species. The tide was
low and the weather was excellent, with no strong winds. There were
large numbers of Pied-billed Grebes and Snowy Egrets at Aquatic Park.
