    Today (4/29) at the shoreline -
    
    Greater White-fronted Goose - 1 an San Lorenzo Community Park.
    
    Cackling Goose - 2 seen in Bockman Channel. Here, the only April records I have are from this year.
    
    Lesser Yellowlegs - 1 seen flying over Sulfur Creek. Here, this is the third latest I have seen in spring.
    
    Red-necked Phalarope - 8 at Frank's Dump West. Seen with many other shorebirds at high tide, including the usual Red Knots.
    
    Least Tern - 34 at Frank's Dump West. Best seen near high tide. They seem to arrive during the high tide. First seen by Peter yesterday. High tide on monday is around 1230.
    
    Nuttall's Woodpecker - 1 in the willows on the east side of Ora Loma Marsh. Here, this is the first one I have seen in spring.
    
    Ash-throated Flycatcher - 2, including 1 at the Winton Parking Area.
    
    Western Kingbird - 2 flying near the park office.
    
    Tree Swallow - First nest record at the shoreline. Found by Peter.
    
    Hermit Thrush - 2 at what locals call Frank's East Trees. It is a strip of small trees and schrubs on the west side of Frank's Dump East. Here, I have only seen them later in 3 years.
    
    Warbling Vireo - in the Winton Parking Area.
    
    Yellow Warbler - 1 in the Frank's East Trees. Here, I only have 1 earlier record.
    
    MacGillivray's Warbler - 1 along the road at the base of the north side of Mt. Trashmore. Here, this is only the fourth one I have seen in spring.
    
    Western Tanager - 1 male in the Frank's East Trees. Here, I have only seen one easlier in spring once.
    
    Fox Sparrow - 1 in the Frank's East Trees. Here, I have only seen them later in spring once.
    
    Lincoln's Sparrow - 1. Here, I have only seen them later in spring once.
    
    White-crowned Sparrow - 4. They are usually gone by now.
    
    Golden-crowned Sparrow - 8. They are usually gone by now.
    
    Great-tailed Grackle - 1 male in Ora Loma Marsh.
    
    Hooded Oriole - 2 in the Frank's East Trees. Here, I only have 5 other records.
