I am recalling this report. After looking at the pics, this wasn't the
lark. So, back out tomorrow to look once again.

    Mea culpa,

    David

The female Lark Bunting continues at the entrance to Byron airport in
Contra Costa county. The bird was seen today (Friday) at 12:15 pm on the
fence just after you turn off Armstrong Rd. into the airport (I think
this is Falcon Way). The bird was on the west side about 40 feet from
Armstrong on the top wire of the fence.

The bird was extremely chatty, and I heard chipping for a minute or two
before the bird landed on the wire. The bird was not refound past 1:15,
when I left. Could be that the wind came up, or perhaps the three
Harriers working the field near where the bunting was spotted sent it
    into hiding.

Happy Birding and thanks for the tip!
