Hi to all,
Yesterday's midday tour of the Emeryville Marina produced three cormorant
species: Brandt's and pelagic cormorants were inside the marina at the end
of Powell Street where it bends north, double-cresteds were on the bay. A
yellow warbler and a belted kingfisher were in the broadleafed trees north
of that corner, and the high tide roost along Powell Street held about 150
willlets, 30-40 whimbrels and a couple of marbled godwits. Close looks for
all.
