[EBB Sightings] Yellow billed Magpie

East Bay Birders,
I have two students who are observing magpies this summer in Livermore?s 
Sycamore Grove Park. I would like them to do a road survey for magpies 
in eastern Alameda County, which could then become a recurring student 
project and hopefully provide a basis for looking at population trends 
for the species in Alameda County. They have also been watching nests 
and will possibly be doing nocturnal roost observations. I would be 
interested in any advice from those in this group regarding good sites 
for magpies in the county and also any known nesting areas. Feel free to
