[EBB Sightings] Ross's Goose, Oakland

The wintering Ross's Goose was still at Lake Merritt this morning, on the grass in the adjacent park between the Embarcadero and I-580.  Perhaps it has given up on the rigors of migration and chosen to stick with the soft life in sunny Oakland.  Most of the other wintering waterfowl left weeks ago, and the last lingering scaup and eared grebes left within the last few days.
