    Following up on Art Edwards' post from last weekend, I went out to Shadow 
    Cliffs this afternoon and easily found the Red-necked Grebe diving just outside 
    the ropes at the swimming area.  If fact, in just one sweep of my scope I was 
    able to see Red-necked, Western, Clark's, Eared, Horned (1), and Pied-billed 
    Grebes, all at the north end of the lake.
    
    One Cackling Goose continued with a large flock of Canada Geese on the lawn 
    near the boat rental pier.
