Last year they stayed well into March. High tide is the only time I find
them there. I think they go farther out into the bay at low tide. Look for
them off from the submarine memorial on the north side of the marina
entrance. Go west on Marina Blvd and turn right at the stopsign by the El
Torito Restaruant. Follow this road to the parking lot at the very end and
park all the way to the end of the parking lot on the right side. They are
in the bay side not in the marina, usually in close to shore.
