    Yes.  We have noticed white throated sparrows in our back yard frequently lately.   They have bold color patterns and, at first,
    we weren't sure what they were.  Don't recall if they have been here in previous years  but there are a number of them and they
    have been in our backyard for at least the past few weeks.  We are in the North Berkeley hills.
