**The Western Tanager pair were great to see. Interesting to watch
also. They flew across the creek to dead branches of an elm. One
dropped to the leaves below and I guess was eating while the other
stayed above as the 'watch'; after a few minutes they switched places
and 'duties' - then they took off heading south, down the creek! One
of those 'wow' moments in my birding life!
