The Pied-billed Grebe family is doing well in the far southwest corner =
of the big pond at Heather Farm Park in Walnut Creek. They have three =
chicks, but are watched closely in the AM by the resident Black-crowned =
Night-Herons. Hope to find them when I return from sea in about a =
month.
