I live in Oakland between the 880 and 580 hwys near the colusseum and =
about two weeks ago a Black-Headed Grosbeak came to my yard feeder... =
Stayed for a couple of days and haven't seen it since... Also, to my =
surprise, there was a Stellars Jay bouncing around the tree behind my =
house for only a short time . This was around 6 weeks ago. These I =
usually see in much higher elevations. Both were back yard firsts for =
me. No Nuthatches for me this year... but plenty of Oak Titmouse, Black =
Phoebes,Chestnut Backed Chickadees, and the usual groups of Finches House =
and Gold and House Sparrows... =20
