    Dear EBBers, 
    	To Bayside Bob's report on the six-legged avocet, I'd like to add what I
    thought were looks at impressive birds seen that day: dunlin were present
    in full secondary plumage (very light-colored heads and reddish-brown
    backs).  A single red-necked phalarope, also in bright secondary plumage,
    flew into the northwest pond (one was seen a week earlier). Canada goslings
    were also there with parents, as were some ducklings, following a mallard
    hen, but not uniformly marked, as from a single clutch.  From the
    apparently incubating stilts, avocets and geese, it seems that more are on
    the way.
