Hi All,
This morning I birded along Tesla/Corral Hollow Road on both sides of the
San Joaquin/Alameda county line. About .3 of a mile into San Joaquin Co
there was a Cassin's Kingbird (maybe two, but I did not see the second one
well enough to be certain). About .2 of a mile west of the county line in
Alameda Co there was a Cassin's Kingbird, Loggerhead Shrike and a "singing"
Roadrunner. These birds were all within the Carnegie State Vehicular
Recreation Area, but I saw and heard them from the road. Note that there is
no parking along the road in San Joaquin Co, but no such restriction in
Alameda Co. Good Birding!
